A Tribute to my Idol Francis Magalona

 farewell francism

Yo! I was referring to “King of Phillipine Rap Musik – The man from Manila aka The Mouth aka Kiko aka Master Rapper aka FrancisM.

A man of great talent and excels in everything he does. He’s a painter, breakdancer, rapper, photographer, MTV VJ/director, businessman, producer, versatile actor and a blogger just like me. You could visit his blogsite at http://francismagalona.multiply.com – just like any blogger, he loves documentation, which he done extensively even during his confinement at the hospital. Taking photos of everything and even naming his medication in details at his blog. Great post indeed!

From all walks of life. Ika nga sa pampasaherong jeep ‘Bata, matanda, me ngipin o wala’ eh kilalang-kilala si Kiko!

Walandyo kelan ko pa ba sya naging idol? Hmmm (magkabukingan na ng edad hehe), pero simula pa nung makita ko syang mag-strut to the tune of ‘A night to remember‘ sa Dance 10.

Nag-start na rin akong mag-rap that time.

He actually pioneers the pinoy hiphop culture to shine here and around the world.

After almost 3 decades of entertaining us pinoys. The most tragic part of his life came along. He suffered a dreadful disease that one might say “Bakit siya pa, bakit hindi na lang yung mga salbaheng tao” Pero I’m sure God has the reason for showing him the exit signs very early in life. After battling the dreadful illness for quite sometime. He finally laid to rest at the age of 44 last March 6, 2009.

Francis may have exit the real world but enters the eternal life with our creator with great honor and pride. To you Sir Kiko. You’re definitely one big loss to the music industry, to your family and friends, to your fans and to your beloved (three stars and sun) country – Philippines. We all gonna miss you Master Rapper.

Farewell FrancisM.  You’re finally an absolute Free Man.
