Bedbugs or “surot in tagalog” are making lots of American households unhappy. Not only that they’re blood-suckers but they smell bad too! The parasites presence are alarming as their total number are rising. They now considered the insect as certifiable pest after inhabiting their houses, hotels, motels and even dorms. A legislator has even introduced a bill – “Don’t Let the Bed Bugs Bite Act”. It sounds funny, but they’re goddamn serious about it! Some people said that even their auto seat cover is vulnerable. Maybe car insurance coverage would includes it on their policy in the future.
From my own experience. While resting on my grannies bed, I freaked out when I found those blood-sucking pest under the bed. They seem to be wiser too! They will outrun you and hide on small holes or cracks that they could squeeze whenever they sense that you’ve seen them. But the most horrendous was when I found out that the big leather belt I was wearing that day inside a jeepney got a colony of bedbugs on the part that’s holding the buckle. It started when I felt something was crawling on my navel. I just pretend that I haven’t seen anything and immediately alighted from the jeep. From there I immediately remove the belt and smashed the buckle on the pavement! Gooey! Ewww! Lots of bed bugs dropped right away, or should I say belt bugs haha!
