The figurine above is one of the item I’ve salvaged from our things at the house after that unruly flood cause by Typhoon Ondoy. Its actually a christmas decor that we can display this coming season. I wonder how much more to those whose house were swept away by the raging flood. Will there still be a nice Christmas for them after Ondoy?
For almost three weeks after the murky water subsides, Im still hoping I could find some of my electronic items, rc truck accessories and some important documents.
Now the house is clean and tidy and completely mud-free, and yet most of my personal things are still lost. Lessons learned the hard way. I guess I’ll just place everything important on some ziplock bags and bury it next time lol!
