Thanks for dropping by my blog. I, too, had problems with that - my cholesterol was too high and I was pre-hypertensive as well. I was prescribed the statin medication. By the way, if you're taking statin as well, you can't drink any alcoholic drink because it will increase your triglicerides (spell check).
