Pano ko ba uumpisahan to’?
Together with my kumpareng Paul and Lil’Bag, we went to the The 4th Anniversary Party of FMCC (Francis Magalona Clothing Company) with the theme – Filipinize The World: Remembering FrancisM and his Works last October 8 at OuterSpace Gallery at The Collective in Malugay, Makati.The parteehh was Astig! Awesome! Phenomenal!
I can imagine my idol, the legendary Master Rapper singing his song “Ito ang gusto ko!”
Why not?, eh magsama-sama ba naman sa iisang venue ang lahat ng kanyang passion in life. His toys, his awards, his music, fellow rappers, hip-hops and breakdancers, photographers, men and women in tattoos, and of course his family.
Grabe sa saya! Lalo na ng kinanta nina Gloc 9 at ang pamilya ni FrancisM (his wife Pia, his children Unna, Francis Jr. Elmo Saab and Maxene) sa loob ng B-Side ang mga kanta ni Kiko (Girl be Mine, Cold Summer Nights, SuperProxy,and Kaleidoscope to name a few). “The family that sings together, stays together ika nga!“.
Sa totoo lang, ewan ko lang kung ako lang nakaramdam, pero I superduper missed Francis Magalona that night! Iba pa din talaga kung sya mismo ang kakanta! Rest In Peace man!
I was multi-tasking that night as I try to capture every single moment with my camera and at the same time join the others in clapping, yelling, singing and making grooves with FrancisM songs! Good thing Jeman from Orange Magazine and Az invited me to this event.
Of course, hindi mawawala ang pektyur-pektyur with da girls (Maxene, Saab and Hi-C of Dice n K9) at networking with people around. Anjan ang mga co-bloggers ko na sina Ria of at Rommel na abala din sa pag pektyur-pektyur. I’ve also met other bloggers like Diey and Mitch and the top honchos of FMCC.
The breakdancers are awesome! Ang gagaling nilang lahat! Me bata at me babae pang nagpakitang gilas ng kanilang poppin and lockin! I have so much fun watching and shooting them! I’ll post na lang some other time yung kuha kong videos sa kanila. Keep on breakin guys!
