Tribute to Ozzy

My daily companion for almost 4 years, sa hirap at sarap, sa office at galaan, sa simple errands and most of all sa ADVENTURES! Walang iba kundi si Ozzy (my Yamaha Mio) scooter.

Q. Why I named her/him Ozzy?

A. I got the idea from the plate number. OZ-4291

Q. Why Pink? Do I like pink? Am I a fan of Hello Kitty? lol 😀

A. The scooter was originally intended for my friend’s wife. Fortunately, my friend’s wife doesn’t want to drive one, she only wants to be a pillion. That’s why my friend sold it to me bcoz my scooter Miah, also a Yamaha Mio, was bikenapped, and I really needed a ride! I really don’t like pink haha!

Never akong nagkaroon ng sira sa daan, yun nga lang naging suki ako ng vulcanizing kase hindi tubeless tires ang gamit ko haha! But engine wise and performance wise, the best si Ozzy ko! Nabili ko sya na naka setup na ng 54mm block, but mas prefer ko pa rin yung stock since viajero ako, so wala pang 1 year binalik ko na sya sa stock which is happy naman ako sa speed and tipid nya sa gas. You wouldn’t believe it pero she only gulped a remarkable 1 liter per 50 km!  Winner talaga lalo na pag long distance travel, mas lalo syang matipid! Its not a trade secret naman kung bakit ito matipid. Palit na kase yung gearing nya nung nabili ko sya, tapos ako naman pinasakal ko din yung carb by replacing the jettings (sorry I forgot the number hehe). But still kahit stock sya, it can reach a top speed of 120kph. Baka sabihin nyo kuwento lang. You can watch the video here –

I sold Ozzy last January kase na-offer-an ng mejo magandang presyo, ok lang naman since kilala ko naman yung nakabili at alam kong aalagaan din sya katulad ng pag-aalaga ko sa kanya.

And now my simple tribute to Ozzy! Sensya na po konti lang photos namin
