It was a gloomy morning that day (30 July 2011) and its a pity that its also the schedule for our Luneta Photowalk. Four early members (including me) were trapped at a waiting shed near the Monument of Rizal for more than an hour, waiting for the rain to stop. We were assuming that no other members would appear because of the bad weather. Then all of a sudden everyone started to arrived. We even surpassed the actual number of attendees on the list haha! Its really one of our best photowalk!
And added to that, later that day because we bumped into an accidental resource speaker that day by the presence of Mr. Kevin Dickinson - A wedding photographer from New Zealand who openly shared his stories with members of PnSers Camera Club. He also delightfully gave some pointers on wedding photography, a bit of his life and his ultimate passion like ours, photography.
Thank you very much sir for your time with us. For sharing your thoughts and knowledge. We will treasure it for a long time. We will be waiting for you again once you’ve decided to go back here in the Manila.
and lastly, thanks for the beers!
Kevin mini speech – Hello, my name is Kevin, I’m from New Zealand, I just want to thank this group for the time they’ve shared with me today. As members of your camera club I wish you all the very best for the future, I hope you all learn a lot, I hope that little tool could compensate the years and better pictures you all appreciate!
“Mention the club name”, I forgotten it hahaha!, the PNSERs camera club, “The URL, the Domain” www.pnsers.com, i wish you all the best!!! Yeah!!! thank you, thank you!!!

I’ve finally set my foot on the notorious island of Boracay! Its a dream come true for me! Its actually the grand prize from San Miguel Pale Pilsen that I’ve won last month.
Together with three members of PnSers Camera Club (Nhald, Fat Joe and Ace Creativemind). We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights at the renowned La Carmela de Boracay.
The moment we went out of our hotel room just past 3pm, we went on a shooting rampage haha! Shooting anything beautiful on sight, with emphasis on the triple “B” (beach, boats and babes)haha!
There’s never a dull moment as we stroll along the shore from Station 1 to Station 3 and back. Not giving attention of the time, we went back to the hotel almost midnight haha!
The next day was much more demented! Just after breakfast, around 8am, we’re already out in the beach to shoot! After walking and shooting until 10am, we board a local boat for a 4 hour island hopping around the island of Boracay and its nearby islets like Crystal Cove, Alligator Island and Puka Beach to name a few. We don’t know how our bodies last that long (shooting, swimming, diving, walking) but I remember we slumped to our bed way past midnight. :d
You can check-out my Flickr account for more of my Boracay Photos!

Its not an everyday occurence that you’d chance to find a lookalike, specially if its a celebrity. But I accidentally found one for my amigo Brian Gawlu Lovino, a photographer and an an avid fan of Canon and Mr. John Chua.
It happen some night ago while watching an evening news. The first time I saw it, I really thought it was my amigo that was being interviewed, good thing he wasn’t wearing any parish clothing that time hehe! But then, I got closer infront of the tube, only to found that it was one of the celebrity player of Azkals! It was Chieffy Caligdong who I’ve mistaken as my amigo.
I then searched for a photo of Chieffy on the internet to look further if my eyes were just playing with me. As you can see from the photo above, your eyes might be playing with you too! Aren’t both of them identical?
