Its been quite a while that my wrist is literally wristwatchless haha! My last watch, a Timex, was still in good condition but its bracelet got snapped. If only its made of  titanium watch bracelet then maybe I’d still be wearing it for the longest time.

But its ok since a few more days and I’ll be flaunting a nice and cool lego watch that I bought at Ebay.com. Its a digital watch and had the design from the colorful Lego toys we all know and we all like for many years now. I just can’t waittttt!

One thing that I love about my new android phone is that using an app called scan life, I can very much have the functionalities of barcode scanners and read every bar code I can come across provided that I am connected to the world wide web and that the data is present in the server.

This is particularly useful when checking for the prices of items in the grocery and for the techie guy or gal like me, this can also be used to download a particular app or information on the web. All you need to do is start the application, use your camera to focus on the bar code on the computer monitor and it automatically reads and redirects you to the website link for that particular app. With such a broad range of possibilities that can be done using such a technology, think of all the ways that it could make our lives more of a breeze.

Now, you might be wondering how this can affect us here in the Philippines, and most Filipinos are just irritated and not seriously bothered as to how this can affect our online lifestyle. Christmas and new year season is always a great time for reunions. Be it elementary, highschool, college or family reunions, I’m sure you’re bound to attend one or perhaps you’ve already been to one. Time flies fast! Next thing I knew is that my laptop (Averatec Buddy) would turn two years old next month. It really serves me well throughout the years and it doesn’t give me any headaches at all, plus it does its job well! That’s why I’m not considering looking for a replacement sooner.

With all the current “price tempting” laptops displayed at the malls, I’ll still continue using my lappie and just save my moolahs for other stuff. A tablet maybe.

With the rise of modern technology, it can’t be denied that computers now run this world or at least play a major part in it. People are constantly coming up with ways on how to automate even the simplest daily tasks using computers.

But in a third world country like the Philippines, not everyone can afford to buy new computers. Most of us depend on discount desktops or second hand computers or even assemble them from scratch. But even though, it just shows the amazing versatility that all Filipinos have. A trait which is very unique and useful for us wherever we may be around the globe.

Be it now or in the future, education will always be one of the foremost needs that every person has to have. Our country produces a lot of professionals in every field. Be it in medicine, engineering, computer sciences, environment, and others…you name it, we have it. But truth to be told, just being a college graduate now is not enough. Most employers, given the choice of choosing between a college grad or a masters’ degree holder, would definitely choose the later without any doubt.

But earning a masters degree or even just additional courses is not that easy especially for middle class people. But thankfully, there is a solution, and that’s online degree programs that is widely available on the internet.

With this you can study advance degrees at the comfort of your own home. You can even take courses that are not available in this country. Now who says studying is hard? Not so if you really want to.

It started after my name was called during a raffle contest at BloggersFest 2011 held at the scenic and prestige Thunderbird Resorts in Angono, Rizal. Together with fellow bloggers and indians – Zenkz, Clutch ,  Pobrengpinoy. and Len (clutch ex-gf) hehe.  We all came to the said event from invites coming from Azrael – a fellow blogger and an event master.

Ok about the growing Thunderbird Resorts shirt. I know your curious now since you have reached this sentence haha! Ok, so I got a Thunderbird Resorts t-shirt from the said raffle and it literally grows bigger in size in just a few hours. Unbelievable isn’t it?!

Ok so your still here and anxious haha!

Here’s why. (tining – tininggggg)

I got the shirt before lunch time. I’ve checked the size and it’s MEDIUM. obviously not fit for my beer-belly me, whattaheck, its free! Then at by mid-afternoon, Pobrengpinoy also won the raffle. He won a t-shirt too, and it’s LARGE! Yup, you’re right! We did swapped our tshirts as his body built was for medium size. Were both happy coz I know now I can now wear the t-shirt, although not snugly fit.

Then the last morphing of the tshirt happened that night hehe. A lady blogger infront of was called down to get her prize. Yes, you got it again! She also won a Thunderbird Resorts t-shirt! As she went back to her seat, just infront of me, I can see her head in frustraton (wobbling left and right). I then hear her say ” The t-shirt is too big for me, huhuhu!”

That’s my cue haha!

I courteuosly asked the lady if she would  like to swap her t-shirt with my t-shirt. And she said yes without hesitation, yipeee!  So  we exchanged tshirts. Now I know I can comfortably wear my tshirt hehe. So that’s the Tale of the Growing Tshirt. Hope you like it. The End.

With Android OS being popular on the new and upcoming models of mobile phones. I’m still sticking with my old but dependable HTC Dash that runs on Windows based platform (Windows Mobile 6.1 to be exact). It still serves me well in texting and making important calls. Not to mention I can also browse the internet with it and gives me lucky pick for the lotto hehe.

The only HTC accessories I really need for my HTC Dash was its headset that is hard to find because its not the standard 3.5mm jack. I need it badly so I can go soundtrippin while riding my scooter. So how about you? Do you need to upgrade or not?
