Hapee with FudGee
Ahhhh…I finally got the time to blog about FudGee. FudGee is the name I’ve gave to my new bridge type point and shoot camera. Its actually a Christmas gift for myself hehe. Its popularly known as Fujifilm Finepix S1800. I consider it an unspeakable upgrade for me. Imagine, coming from a 6X zoom and 7.1 megapixels Canon A710IS, and now FudGee, with a whooping 12 megapixel sensor and an 18X optical zoom whapakkk!
Some of its cool features is that it have an electronic viewfinder (EVF), its capable to record HD movie at 1280×720 resolution, has an 6,400 ISO, panorama mode, burst mode, Auto scene recognition (level-up of from the regular AUTO Mode) and my favorite, the SMILE detection haha! And best of all, with all its cool features, its the cheapest bridge camera in the market today!!!
All of these are kinda new to me that’s why I’m excited to explore FudGee more each day. Sadly, due to lack of time, I seldom used it (barely a month old, with less than a hundred shots, as of this blog).
Looks like me and FudGee will be going a long way as FudGee gave a sign by winning 1st place on the first photo challenge that we’ve joined
.
The photo above is my winning entry. Titled: “Hapi with my Fuji” – Theme:HappyNess, coinciding with this, I’ve recently done some editing on my header image. As you can see, I’m now holding a Fuji S1800 on my hand haha!

There is definitely money in domain names. I guess a few might still ask what domain names are; I’ll put facebook.com and fb.com as examples of domain name.
The 2 domain names I’ve mention may sound or look the same, well I could say yes. That is after Facebook paid 8.5 million dollars to obtain “fb.com”. I’ve just read about it through my Sony VAIO laptop, one of my facebook buddy had a link to it from his wall.
FB.com was originally owned by American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) which is commonly known as Farm Bureau, it is the largest farm organization in the US and it’s a nonprofit organization that promotes and represents farmers’ interests.
8.5 million dollars sure is a lot of money compared to how much Mark Zuckerberg spent on buying the domain name “facebook.com”, it actually worth 200,000 dollars back in August 2005. Anyway in my case, the only good thing about this is that my lazy fingers could just type “fb.com” and woolah, it’s facebook in a jiffy

I’ve been hearing this news around lately and I can’t help but get really really curious about it. The very first time I heard about it though, I never believed it. But seeing the internet get clouded by the rumor in just a day even online university talks about it if its really is true.
I initially thought someone crazy just started the rumor about the “Facebook ending on March 15th” issue. But it really became disturbing after watching it on TV, thru “Saksi” (GMA News). I then searched the net for its source, to confirm it.
It turned out that the source of the issue was weeklyworldnews.com which is actually a website with (uhmmm how to explain..) well that website is also behind the claim that “Megan Fox is a MALE” and that “Aliens will attack Earth on 2011”. Now you judge what that website’s news are. Well somehow it made me feel comfy, knowing Facebook’s closing issue is far from truth….Thanks Mark Zuckerberg!
BTW nice photo, it matches my theme
