The whole movie are all actually made from video clips from a point and shoot cameras. Several clips from a Fujifilm Finepix HS10 (I really love its high-speed feature) then from my trusty Fujifilm Finepix S1800, another from a Sony TX5 Cybershot (waterproof) and lastly from a Canon Powershot D10, which is also a waterproof camera. Good thing we don’t need an rv repair but unfortunately the HS10 need some rest as it gulped some sea water during some banca scene hehe!

By the way, the PnSers members in this Boracay trip were (Nhald, Fat_joe, Ace Creativemind and yours truly. We did a photowalk in Boracay as part of the prize for capturing the Grand Prize at the Photo-Essay Contest of San Miguel Pale Pilsen. Watch and enjoy our video!

Man, I miss biking. I haven’t ridden my bike for a while since I kept it in my garage.

Anyway, this is Danny MacAskill, one of the premier BMX and mountain bikers in Scotland. I found him really cool, mainly because Scottish terrain is much harder and rougher than urban settings like in the US. You need something like a thule bike rack when you need to bring your bike to several areas in the country. And in some places, most of them are grasslands, which means they’re soft earth. It’s very tricky to navigate this kind of ground on a bike. You’re going to need a lot of planning and control to maneuver and do tricks with this bike, as well as special enhancements to make the bike endure the tricks.

I was totally stoked upon watching this video! Danny MacAskill was literally flying all over the place! Heights are nothing, and his bike looks indestructible too! I should say that him and his bike was a real All-Terrain machine!

Maybe I should work out , you know, to get my BMX riding body back so I can do tricks like these again haha! (wishing)

Yes Cainta and some part of Taytay looks like they’ve been submitted to a “dry run” to battle heavy typhoon like Ondoy, and it seems that they lost the battle.

After the short but heavy rains around mid-afternoon yesterday, thousands of people and vehicles were stranded for long hours along the stretch of Ortigas extension, and that includes me and my Yamaha Mio.

It instantly created a large traffic as 3 major portions of Ortigas extension were flooded from knee to as high as hip deep.

Some say that it much higher inside some subdivision. You could imagine the phobia from an Ondoy veteran like me, who almost drowned last year. I even saw a firetruck with a boat on top traversing the flood. Everything lookslike reminiscences of last year disaster.

The same day we celebrated the Philippine Independence Day last June 12, 2010. The president, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo also held a “Vin d Honneur” in Malacañang Palace.

I got interested upon hearing the news reporter on TV pronounced “Vin d Honneur” (/váN do núr/), and went loco searching for what it means. There’s a number of meaning indicated on net though, but to cut it short, it’s a celebration.

This is her last Independence Day celebration as President of the Philippines, it’s farewell to the great office furniture in Malacanang. That’s probably why the celebration did not only embark upon independence. It also highlighted the parade of the 11 floats, 10 of them signifying each letter of the acronyms B.E.A.T.T.H.E.O.D.D.S. (isn’t that great ^_^). These floats allowed the people to be informed of what her (PGMA) government has provided the Filipinos in her 9 years of presidency.

I like acronyms, so I say Kudos! to the organizers who brought that up, by the way “BEAT THE ODDS” meant, Budget reform, Education for all, Automated Election, Transportation and Digital infrastructure, Terminating hostilities, Healing the wounds of EDSA, Electricity and water for all, Opportunities created from 6-8M jobs, Decongest Metro Manila by decentralization of gov’t offices and new transport infrastructure systems, and lastly Develop Subic and Clark as globally competitive logistics hub. Not bad at all!

Drug abuse is the most common issue any country’s governance is faced to fight with. Most of its victim comes in depressed areas, especially in 3rd world countries, and sniffing solvent or “rugby”is one of the cheapest and popular.

The Philippines has just finished their elections giving way to a new President, Its new government faces huge amount of difficulties but hopefully it could strengthen its campaign against illegal drugs which is currently scourging the country.

This global epidemic can be fought not only by the government; each of us ordinary individuals who have internet access can actually help these people. The Tennessee Drug Rehab houses huge information on every type of addiction which we normally face at present, e.g. (drug addiction, alcoholism, etc.)

If you encounter people who’re having difficulties avoiding these vices, especially at early age, do not hesitate to help and make them learn what harm this may do to them and hope they could eliminate their addiction as soon as possible.

Seriously, where are all the good RPG’s in PS2′s nowadays?

I’ve been looking for hours at the mall trying to find a decent game for my PS2 and still nothing. Good thing there are lots of games for the Xbox or downloads for the PSP. Its nice to see some of the games I already finished on our PS2 still at the racks.

Though I find it annoying to think that gamers like myself spend so much to buy consoles only to find that it’ll be out of date in the next few years. Our PS2 cost almost 12,000 pesos when we first bought it. And now, it’s like the same price as the PSP!

How I wish, Sony and other console creators should make, like, a recall program or something. Like if you don’t want your console anymore, you can trade it in for the console you want at the same price. That’ll be really cool. Or maybe they should start converting PS2 and Xbox games for the PSP. Lord knows I want to play Final Fantasy X on the PSP.

Oh well, I think I’ll just take my frustrations out on my brother’s Guitar Hero controller.
