Toughbook by Panasonic

Now that laptops and tablets are very trendy, especially that wi-fi hotspots are just around the corner. The only problem you might be considering is what’s the best thing to buy with your christmas bonus… a laptop, a tablet or a womens boots for your lovey dovey.

With this new gadget out in the market it will definitely make you decide easier :) . A laptop that converts into a tablet that Panasonic created, its called ToughBook,  which is mainly focused and designed for businessmen, but even ordinary people would be happy to use it. The company named the product CF-C1 model. Its slimmer, lighter and had more pleasing feature from other models, but it still has its own original laptop features.

Panasonic created the CF-C1 model to become an essential business partner for many great organizations. The tablet screen itself is a resistive touch screen, therefore allowing the user to use the laptop even without the help of a stylus, just  the forefinger will do, or even if the user is wearing a glove!

Another great feature is its swiveling screen that can turn and swivel in a single pivot point that allows conversion into an easy-handle tablet (check out the images above) and also, don’t worry about water spills either coz the laptop’s own keyboard is water proof!

How to cool the earth

Posted by raredog in Anonythor, Techie St... | 04.29.2010 - 9:39 am

move the earth away from the sun

I don’t know of anybody who doesn’t complain about the hot weather were experiencing right now (in the Philippines). I guess only the rich or those who we’re trapped inside their fully air-condition crib who went out only at night haha! (takot maarawan).

But even the nights are hotter these days. Its so diicult to sleep. All bcoz off this El Nino, Global Warming, and the depleting ozone layer etc.. that makes the temperture goes wacko!

I miss the days when we go freestylin on our BMX bikes even during noontime without feeling hot or sticky. (eh ngayon mo gawin yun, kapag nde ka nangamoy sunog ewan ko lang haha!)

We all contributed to global warming, direct and indirectly, because we all exhale carbon dioxide, plus the burning of tires, deforestation, gas emmisions from factory and autos, hair sprays, freons from our air-conditioning and refrigerator are some of the factors which causes the greenhouse effect.

So what will be the remedy or solution to this worldwide problem?

Political and public debate continues regarding global warming, its causes and what actions to take in response. The available options are mitigation to reduce further emissions; adaptation to reduce the damage caused by warming; and, more speculatively, geoengineering to reverse global warming. Most national governments have signed and ratified the Kyoto Protocol aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

I have this two (insane) ideas on how to cool the earth. :D

1.First, if we all stop breathing for at least two minutes a day to minimize the emmision of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

2.Second, How about collecting all the nuclear missiles around the world (the more, the better). Detached its warheads and shove the rockets inside the earth’s surface.  Sahara or Mojave Desert are two ideal venue for this project.

By this time I think you got my idea haha! We would ignite all rockets simultaneously for the purpose of moving the Earth away from the Sun. Aiming for the position in between Jupiter and Saturn for a much cooler Earth haha! What do you think?
