Biker Christmas Wish

Oxtar touring bootsFieldshear or Alpinestar mesh jacket would be a perfect gift for myself this coming Christmas. If only budget permits, I would also consider buying other things to complete my riding get ups. By the way im referring to a biker’s riding apparel and not an equestrian riding apparel haha.

Other things on my wishlist are – the Air Tech touring boots from Oxtar, Velocity gloves with carbon fiber protection, an elbow protector and reflex knee/shin guard by MSR Racing, a touring helmet made by Shoei, Phoenix mesh pants from Joe Rocket and lots of money on my wallet to buy it lol. For the meantime I think the mesh jacket will be my priority, coz the wind is kinda chilly nowadays hehe.

courtesy of www.british-customs.comNext thing on my list to buy for myself this christmas if budget permits, is a biker jacket. Color black is somehow linked with bikers, that’s why its no wonder a lot of them wears black (tees, jackets, pants, briefs?) As for me I really like black too! So I would be buying the jacket in the picture or something that look just like that hehe.

I have a slight problem though. And that’s my size! XL is a bit sloppy, while Large fits just right. Except for the tummy area where I can’t hide my bulky stomach. It’s either I have to do a hundred sit-ups or some diet pills will do the trick hehe. :D

Biker Shoes

Alpinestars SMX-2With only 5 days left to go before our fun ride to Atimonan, Quezon and yet I still don’t know what shoes to wear. I was hoping to wear a riding boots for this ride but yet christmas bonus is still far away to buy one for myself. I dunno either if the balikbayan box would arrive early, coz my requested MBT shoes from my Auntie would be somewhere there along with the bunch of groceries and pasalubongs.

Anyway, maybe I’ll just use my old and trusty Vans for this ride. It’s comfortable to wear but offer little protection for a biker. Oh I just hope I could have a pair of biker shoes this christmas.
