“Amazing!” I told myself as I viewed young boys and girls from all over the Philippines competing for Web Design, as they continue typing different HTML codes and scripts on their PCs Notepad during the The First CAL National Interschool Battle of the ICT Wizards held last Feb.16 - 17, 2007 at PTTC Roxas, Blvd. Pasay City, also included in the ICT Categories are Applications Programming, PC Assembly and Desktop Publishing .
I was amazed because I did not experienced hard-coding myself, I was more on WYSIWYG person. I had a hard time remembering all those codes, that’s why. :d
And they really gave me a hard time judging their work. Everybody was a bit tension, specially the coaches and parents. After the awarding ceremonies, as usual some won and some lose, but I think every one will cherish the crucial moments they fought for what they’ve learned. More power to ICT in the Philippines!
