kymco like 125 review and specification

It was love at first sight upon seeing the white Kymco Like 125 several months ago, but when I saw the Kymco Like – Titanium Gray version last Saturday it was different, t’was more than love! Its a mixture of Love and Like!

At first glance you would thought its the italian Vespa Super 300i.

Good thing I have not only seen it this time, I also got the opportunity to test drive it around the metro. The ride was amazing! Handling was superb! Even though with my height at (5’6″) and its much more higher than most scooter around, I didn’t have any problem making a small U-Turn at Marcos Highway . The suspension and the large seat was very comfy (even on rough roads). The throttle was very responsive and the engine and muffler are so quiet. Its like the Benz of scooter. I think you could even hear the chirping of the birds when driving on the countryside.

I also like the headlight, its very bright (no need for an HID) and the horn just is just right to be notice by other motorist and pedestrians. And the big and bright brake light at the back was just awesome! I also love its speedometer! Its clear even at night, and it also has a built-in digital clock.

Not to mention the stainless emblem of the word “Like” on the bike made it more classy!

Got Mamachari?

Posted by raredog in Raredog Promotes, Tw... | 08.23.2011 - 4:42 pm

mamachari

Ever heard of the word Mamachari? We’ll its actually a japanese word for their famous City Bike. (Mama – Moms, Chari – Chariot or two-wheel carrier) that was initially designed to be use by the workaholic moms. Its the one that has baskets infront and kid seats at the back which you can see all over Japan.  And because of its durability and ease of use in the streets, it also became a hit to the working dads.

Nowadays, based on my personal experience, mamachari can be seen all over Metro Manila mainly because a lot of these bikes are being imported here by surplus dealers and were sold at a very cheap price.

And yes, I’ve have this blog post because I’m recently a proud owner of a mamachari. I’ll post some other time more photos and the reason why I’ve choose to bought one
