I managed to test “Godox” (my cheap slave flash) last Saturday during a Christmas party with my high school batchmates (Lagro High School Batch 8?), and boy it was a blast!
I have seldom used it since I bought it 3 months ago on Ebay and I’m also not at ease in shooting portraits, not to mention its an evening event which make it more harder bcoz I really need to tweak my camera “FudGee” (Fujifilm Finepix S1800) in this situation for them to shine-on on their photos. But to tell you honestly, I really enjoy the shooting spree with my batchmates that night, and obviously so are they haha!

My shooting that evening was spontaneous as all of them are more than willing to strike a pose. I made more than 200 shots that night and its more than enough to say that this Godox is a bang-for-buck slave flash. Just imagine I just normally shoots around 30 – 50 shots during a strenous photowalk with my camera club haha! It just proves that I did enjoy my shooting that night. I feel like a pro strobist with their compliments!
Or maybe my alcohol intake significantly added more passion to my shooting that night haha!
It feels Valentine’s Day last night as me and my co-blogger Rommel enter this place in P.Tuazon in Cubao. The place is full of red gorgeous motorbikes. Well why not? it’s the place of the prestigious Italian motorcycle, the Ducati! And we were lucky we got an RSVP invites to grace the soft launching of the latest Ducati to hit the Philippine road. It’s the “Ducati Monster 795”.

“Ducati is like a Ferrari on two-wheels” I’ve heard from one of the marketing staff, and I can’t agree more. Not only that they’re both red and Italian made, but the craftsmanship and performance as well, that owners and would be owners have attached to their passion and lifestyle.

The grand launch of the Ducati Monster 795 with the theme “LIVING THE DREAM” will be held this coming December 10, 7:30pm at the New Eastwood Mall Open Park Ground. I have asked about the Ducati Monster 795 SRP but they said it’s a surprise and will be revealed only on the said event, so watch out for it Ducati fans because the price is connected with their theme.

Be there to see and feel the newest monster of Ducati. The Monster 795!

In a few months it would be “goodbye college time” for a lot of students in the country and time to say “hello jobs”. And with labor statistics indicating the almost half a million graduates are unable to land a job every year, we can’t help but wonder about their future.
Of course there will always be job fairs held at malls or online job search engine where you can find almost every job in every field like nursing, legacy system programmer jobs, call center representative jobs and others. But despite numerous vacancies, it would appear that graduates cannot readily fill these positions because some are underqualified or does not pass certification exams. Is this a result of the poorness of our education system being not at par with industry standards or is it merely a problem with the types of graduates our schools produce versus the needs of the labor market?
