Websaytko.com scored PR3 again

My site pagerank is again at PR3!

What a f**kin surprise really! I wasn’t expecting it would go higher after being PR0 for so longggg. But seriously and some bragging,  my site websaytko.com has scored PR4 two times already in the past. That was the time when I had nothing to do but continuous blogging and my keyboard slides just about anything under the sun and of course a little bit of SEO’s at the background. Kaya nagulat ako today after I’ve checked my domain appraisal at the reliable www.freevaluator.com that my site is again at PR3 and with an estimated value of $ 4,749.89! Watdapakk!!!

I feel sorry lang about the recent news that Google will finally remove PageRank scores from public view in the coming weeks. Kung kelan naman ako naging PR3 haha! But anyway, sana matuloy yung pagbenta ko sa blog ko dun sa bigtime kong buyer hehe.

In the eyes of Google

I’m ranting and raving since Tueday evening! I’m surprised to know that my site’s pagerank has skyrocketed to PR4!!! (from last New Year’s eve PR2) Isn’t that super cool! In two months time my site achieved again this rank. (I once experience PR4 3 years ago). For the benefit of those who had no basic idea what pagerank is about, here’s a short info from Wikimapia.

PageRank results from a “ballot” among all the other pages on the World Wide Web about how important a page is. A hyperlink to a page counts as a vote of support. The PageRank of a page is defined recursively and depends on the number and PageRank metric of all pages that link to it (“incoming links”). A page that is linked to by many pages with high PageRank receives a high rank itself. If there are no links to a web page there is no support for that page. Google assigns a numeric weighting from 0-10 for each webpage on the Internet; this PageRank denotes a site’s importance in the eyes of Google. The PageRank is derived from a theoretical probability value on a logarithmic scale like the Richter Scale.

Brief History of Websaytko Pagerank

May 2007 – PR4 (i’m just a noob in blogging, no idea whattaheck is pagerank)

Dec 2007 – PR0 – got smacked by the Google (loss my pagerank)

Mar 2008 – PR2 – I already forgot about it hehe (it went back to PR2)

It went back to ZERO again but I have no idea when, I think its during the last quarter of 2008 up to December 2009 (that was soooooo long)

New Year’s Eve 2009 – a news from Rai Marfil of bubblymiss.net – a blogger friend congratulating me for getting a PR2 (shocked!!!) and then last Tuesday evening – Yipeee a PR4!!! Thanks Google!!! 😀

got my pagerank back

page rank zero cola

My site was one of those affected by the Google tsunami that swept a lot of websites page rank last December 2007. I was uber mad about it. Imagine that instant my site went from PR4 to PR0 after the wave! Not even a gradual reduction like some other blogs have experienced. Wattah! At first I become uneasy, but since I’m not the only one affected with the wrath of Googel, I said to myself “blog goes on, with or without pagerank“. And since my site was down for almost the whole month of December, I can now see the dropped of my stats from Alexa and Technorati.(i know they rank our sites 3 to 6 months backward). Whew! Great statistics to start the year. lol!  Despite what happened I still continue to post juicy (fruit lol) articles to my blog to compensate everything.

Then Gooogle surprised me last March 15 by giving me back my PR. Although its only half of it, well whattaheck it’s much better than zero hahaha! By the way during the time I was mad at Big “G” I bought this domain http://googlepageranksucks.com, by the way its still for sale just in case someone (whose mad at G) out there wants to buy it! hehehe.

For the meantime just relax and cool yourselves with the refreshing drink of Page-Rank Zero or the Real Thing!
