Susan Boyle is Recuperating

Susan Boyle is recuperating from the not-so-good results at the finals of Britain’s Got Talent. For being second to the energetic dance group Diversity, Susan is said to be exhausted and emotionally drained. She should not lose her morale and gotta move on and follow her ambition to be a musical theatre singer, its like striking the iron while its hot, or else she can go home instead and be one of the garden planters in their town lol.

BGT gave her the exposure she needs to share her remarkable talent and it paid off well. She became an instant hit on the internet, tv and other media. And she definitely touched a lot of people’s emotion with her uplifting performance. Go! Go! Go! Susan, prove to the world, prove it to Simon and to yourself, that you are really the best!

Coming from different publicity items like caricature and articles (good or bad) of Susan online, I find this video somehow unique.

I know what they were thinking, but why should it matter as long as I can sing? It’s not a beauty contest.

Wacky Summer Job

Due to the financial meltdown the economy are experiencing. Quite a number of students are helping their parents to make both ends meet. What most of them do specially this season? They look for summer jobs. Instead of just leisuring along the beach or at the mall, they searched for temporary work that could make them save money for their coming school year.

I chanced upon this wacky group of garbage collector dressed-up as ladies (nurses and students) while doing their job – collecting garbage. Maybe they got their (uniforms) from somewhere who treat it as scrap. You know affluent homeowners throws everything, from refrigerators, queen size beds and even patio chairs if they think there’s no more use for them.

Flagellants Everywhere

A group of flagellants  while doing their yearly devotion/ sacrifice or panata on the streets of Pampanga during Holy Week. This was my first time to witnessed such large numbers of flagellants and penitents on the street. They’re literally everywhere. They believe doing penance like these would washed away their sins.

This video was taken last Good Friday while we’re on a Road Trip to Manaoag, Pangasinan to visit the church and pray to the miraculous Our Lady of Manaoag.
