DIY 360 Swivel Helmet Mount for GoPro cameras

It’s actually my posse Rommel who made this DIY 360 Swivel helmet mount for his GoPro camera. He allow me to use it on my helmet that day, and because of excitement I hurriedly fix it on top of my helmet and forgot to have some photos with it for posting it on my blog. Nevertheless, since I memorized all the materials needed in making one.

Assuming you already got a helmet with helmet adhesive mounts, with J-buckle and bolt.

The materials is easy to acquire and the steps are simple

diy 360 swivel

A. caster wheel that revolves (remove the wheel)
B. nylon zip ties (insert it on the caster wheel base and tied it to the aluminum bar)
c. aluminum bar (around 2 and half feet in length and place the caster wheel at the middle, on the other side place an adhesive helmet mount with a quick release buckle to match with the J-buckle on top of your helmet, then secure the bolt to hold both buckles)
D. stick-on weights to balance the camera
e. roll-bar mount to place your GoPro camera

Well that’s it! Enjoy making cool videos with yout 360 Swivel Helmet mount!

Drip Drip din pag me time

Time flies!

I can’t imagine it’s been 4 months na pala since I’ve done trike drifting! Sobrang na-miss ko sya! Kya drip drip din pag me time haha!

I guess I have to insert it to my busy sked. And that’s what happened last Tuesday when I filed a leave of absence to take my mom to a clinic for her much needed eye operation, and since it would take her almost half day, I sneaked and go all the way to San Mateo, Timberland for a short session with my Pinoy Drift Trikes crew, and together for the first time with my hijo Dek Brian. I’ve lured him into this sport and he likes it very much! In fact he can already nailed a triple 360 with ease! 😀

My First 360 on a Drift Trike

At last! I nailed it! After several months of trike drifting and all that broken bones and bruises 😆 , I finally nailed a 360 degree drift on Tricia (my drift trike) at our tambayan in Kapitolyo, Pasig together with the Pinoy Drift Trikes crew.

But, honestly at one point, I almost lose confidence on perfecting it, until now haha!

I can’t believe it either, it happens so fast! I dunno if the Colt 45 we were drinking that night is one factor that I made it haha! But there’s one thing for sure, I’m gonna do it again and again and again! Double 360 here I come!!! 😆
