As far as Pinoy Drift Trikes television appearance history (Best Men was our 7th), I could say that this show was the best just like when you buy at Reeds.com birthstone rings and not because I crashed during the earlier part of the shoot haha!
I say its the best because two of my sons (Sean Kirk and Dek Brian) we’re with me, they both got a shot to stardom haha! The bonding we had was priceless. We, together with Jun Veneracion of Best Men and the PDT posse enjoyed drifting all day while the camera was rolling infront of us. There was even a time that they have to dance, though they look silly they just enjoyed every second of it! Good thing I wasn’t on that scene or I might stole the audience attention haha!
For the sake of those who missed our other television appearances, here it is on chronological order
The sport not only brings the youth in me but it also boost my energy, exercises my mind and body, practice photography/video making, and the newest thing is that it bonds me with my kids who also hugged this extreme sport of mine.
Just like what happened during our shooting at Thunderbird Resort for “Best Men” a show on GMA News TV Channel 11 with hosts Jun Veneracion and RJ Ledesma.
Sean Kirk was happily interviewed by Jun Veneracion about trike drifting and what inspired him at his young age to like this sport. While Dek show his skills on camera. I would say he’s now an expert after nailing on the spot the two-wheeled ride on the drift trike.
Unfortunately only Jun Veneracion is with us on this show because RJ is in HK doing another segment. And just like any episodes they’ve done, the show won’t end unless they had a hands-on on the segment topic, this time Jun V. experienced the thrill and fun of trike drifting!
Wish they could do a part 2 with both Jun and RJ drifting side by side, that would be cool haha!
Anyway, be sure to watch us this coming Monday, November 11 on GMA News TV Channel 11 “Best Men” at 10:30pm 😀
I can’t imagine it’s been 4 months na pala since I’ve done trike drifting! Sobrang na-miss ko sya! Kya drip drip din pag me time haha!
I guess I have to insert it to my busy sked. And that’s what happened last Tuesday when I filed a leave of absence to take my mom to a clinic for her much needed eye operation, and since it would take her almost half day, I sneaked and go all the way to San Mateo, Timberland for a short session with my Pinoy Drift Trikes crew, and together for the first time with my hijo Dek Brian. I’ve lured him into this sport and he likes it very much! In fact he can already nailed a triple 360 with ease! 😀
